Take 3 Christian Theater's goal is to educate, edify, and entertain to the glory of God by preparing a Christmas outreach show and a full musical theater production in spring. Auditions are traditionally held in June for the following fall and spring semester. There is a limited amount of audition slots and a limited number of company members accepted. Not all who audition are guaranteed to be accepted in the company.
Rehearsals will be uniquely structured according to each of the production's needs. Fall semester rehearsals are Wednesday, 2 P.M. Rehearsal times will be extended in the weeks leading up to the spring production. Spring semester will have Wednesday 2 P.M. and Friday 2-5 P.M.. The production week will require attendance at dress rehearsals each night.
Production expenses will be shared by each case member. Anticipated fees are $175 - $200 per cast member. Please note: We do not accept high school graduates, but 13-year-old 8th graders may audition for provisional consideration.
Take 3 Christian Theater rehearsals are done in partnership with the Pillar Foundation's class enrollment schedule. Therefore, registration must be done through the Pillar Foundation. As a Pillar class member, Take 3 company members agree to follow the Pillar class expectations including participating in the Christian Self-Government 2-hour seminar for first time Pillar students.
