Kathy Side, Producer
Kathy, the wife of Brian for 41 years, mother of seven, mother-in-law of four, grandmother of eight, and homeschool mom over the course of close to 30 years. Kathy taught high school math and computer science in public high school for seven years before retiring to be a stay-at-home mom. Besides being involved in theater, Kathy is active in her church, blessed to teach preschoolers in Sunday School, and enjoys serving her growing family. As the producer and administrator of Take 3 Christian Theater since its inception in 2013, she is humbled and grateful to have had the opportunity to work with homeschooled high school student cast members, costumers, and the directors. Through teaching at The Pillar Foundation, Kathy is also thankful to be able to “give back” to the Pillar in appreciation for affording sound high school classes for her and Brian's children.

​I was born, raised, and educated at home right here in St. Louis, graduating in 2007 with WCCHE. The Lord kindly drew me with His cords of love and saved me when I was eight years old. I spent over seven years with the two preceding musical theater groups for home schoolers - Broadway on the Driveway and Act II. After high school and a few years at Grove City College, my life has revolved around being a committed church member and helper suitable to my husband during his military career (taking us halfway around the the world to Japan and back again to Washington, D.C. for almost a decade). In April 2020, the Lord directed our steps (back) to St. Louis. God has kindly given me a husband I adore (just celebrated 16 years of marriage) and six children, ages ranging from four years old to fifteen.
In God’s perfect timing, our seventh child will be joining our clan right during the final hours of this musical production. Directing for Take 3 has been an honor that I humbly thank the Lord for, as well as Kathy Side and the Take 3 Board. Soli Deo Gloria!
