Kathy Side, Producer
Kathy, the wife of Brian, mother of seven, mother-in-law to four, and grandmother to six, homeschool mom for 28 years, has six college graduates and one college student. Kathy taught high school math and computer science in the public schools for seven years before retiring to be a stay-at-home mom. Besides being involved in theater, Kathy is active in her church teaching Sunday school, and still enjoys serving her growing family. As the producer and administrator for Take 3 Christian Theater, she is thrilled and humbled to have had the opportunity to work with such great cast members and the many volunteers with such servant hearts. Through teaching at The Pillar, Kathy is also thankful to be able to “give back” to The Pillar Foundation who had sacrificially taught her own children for nearly 20 years.
Eliana Steele, Director
Eliana is thrilled to be a part of the Take 3 team again! A recent graduate of Missouri Baptist University, she has a degree in Theatre with minors in Accounting and Business Administration. Onstage, she enjoyed a variety of roles at MBU, including Lady Macbeth (Macbeth), Reno Sweeney (Anything Goes), and Baker’s Wife (Into the Woods). Offstage, some of her favorite tech positions have been as lighting designer and stage manager. Eliana helped as assistant director for Take 3’s 2017 production of Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat and 2019 production of Narnia, for which she also designed props. Currently, she works at MBU in the Accounts Payable office and enjoys teaching kiddos at Dayspring Performing Arts. Eliana loves the Take 3 community and cannot wait to see all the amazing things God will do in and through Take 3 this year!
